Biased coverage in the media

Coverage in the media is supposed be unbiased and free of the reporters opinion. That is always the goal when writing or reporting for the media. At times reporters may forget and add their own opinions in a story or article. That will eventually influences readers to side with what the writer wrote and does not allow the reader to form their own opinion. The most effective way for a reporter to remain unbiased is to always ask themselves: is this my opinion or is this the facts of the story. If it is not a fact and can not be supported with reliable sources than its most likely the reporters opinion.
